Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University freshman Josep Canyadell (Lleida, Spain) has been named the South Atlantic Conference men's tennis Player of the Week, league officials announced Monday afternoon. Canyadell earns Player of the Week accolades for the first time in his career. This marks the second consecutive week Wingate has had the league's Player of the Week, with sophomore Daniel Belsito (Charlotte, N.C.) earning the honors last week.
