Lexington, Va.----Wingate University junior Andrew Spence (Port Orange, Fla.) won the men's long jump at the VMI Winter Relays Saturday, posting a mark of 7.04 meters at the Corps Physical Training Facility (complete VMI Winter Relays results). The VMI Winter Relays is Wingate's last competition before the inaugural South Atlantic Conference indoor championship meet Feb. 19 (at JDL Fast Track).
