Austin, Texas----Six Wingate University football student-athletes have been named to the 2017 Academic All-Super Region 2 team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Bulldog redshirt senior linebacker Zack Singleton (Germanton, N.C.) returns from the 2016 squad. He is one of four Wingate student-athletes who have received Academic All-Super Region 2 team honors twice in their careers (official CoSIDA press release).
