Newton, N.C.----The Wingate University cross country teams begin the championship portion of the 2017 season Saturday, running in the South Atlantic Conference meet at Southside Park. The women's 5K race begins at 9 a.m., while the men's 8K event starts at 10 a.m. Lenoir-Rhyne University is the host for this year's SAC championship meet.
