Conover, N.C.----The Wingate University men's golf team is eighth after the first day of the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Super Regional Preview at the Rock Barn Country Club and Spa Monday. The Bulldogs shot a 300; Barton College leads the 17-team field with a score of two-over-par 290 (first-round results).
