Bluffton, S.C.----Wingate University sophomore Diana McDonald set a new program record with a four-under-par 68 Sunday, helping the Bulldog women's golf team finish tied for fourth place in the 18-team Battle at Old South. The Bulldogs shaved 14 strokes from their Saturday score with a 292 Sunday for a two-day total of 598. McDonald finished second on the individual leaderboard, one shot off the lead. The event was hosted by UNC Pembroke at the Old South Golf Links (par 72, 5874 yards) Saturday and Sunday.
