Bluffton, S.C.----The Wingate University women's golf team shot a 305 on the first day of the Battle at Old South, hosted by UNC Pembroke at the Old South Golf Links (par 72, 5874 yards) Saturday and Sunday. The Bulldogs had five-of-five players shoot rounds in the 70s as the team is ninth after day one of the 36-hole, 18-team event.
