Rock Hill, S.C.----The Wingate University football team is picked second in the South Atlantic Conference preseason coaches' poll, league officials announce Wednesday. The Bulldogs were 8-3 overall (5-2 SAC) during the 2016 season. The Bulldogs eclipsed the seven-win mark for the first time since 2010, when the 'Dogs won the SAC and made their last NCAA play-off run.
