Wingate, N.C.----The fifth annual WUSPYS will take place Monday, May 8 at the Union County Agricultural Center in Wingate. There will be 18 categories in this year's WUSPYS. Voting will take place this week. The awards will be voted on by Wingate coaches, along with the athletic administrative staff. In addition, members of Wingate's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will take part in the voting. More than 90 people received a WUSPYS ballot on Monday. The doors open at 4:45 p.m. next Monday, where the red carpet will once again be ready.
