Rock Hill, S.C.----Wingate University senior Andrea Ternera (Bogota, Colombia) has been named the 2017 South Atlantic Conference Women's Tennis Elite 18 honoree, league officials announced Friday afternoon. This is a new award for the SAC and honors the student-athlete with the top cumulative grade-point average based on a minimum of 48 credit hours who is competing at the final site of each of the Conference's 18 team championship sports.
