Rock Hill, S.C.----Wingate University women's golf had five student-athletes named to the All-South Atlantic Conference teams for their performances throughout the 2016-17 season. Sophomore Cristina Casanella (Barcelona, Spain) and freshman Diana McDonald (Kingston, Ontario) are All-SAC second team picks. In addition, Wingate Director of Student-Athlete Development and women's golf coach Erin Thorne was voted the SAC women's golf Coach of the Year by her peers (complete SAC release).
