Rock Hill, S.C.----For the third consecutive year, the Wingate University Bulldogs will meet the Queens University Royals in the South Atlantic Conference men's basketball tournament, meeting in the semifinals Saturday night at 8 p.m. at Timmons Arena on ESPN3. Wingate and the 10th-ranked Royals will play for the ninth time in the last three seasons. The third-seeded Bulldogs enter the SAC semifinals at 20-9 overall after going 16-6 in league play. Queens is the number two seed in this week's tournament, entering the semifinals at 26-3 overall after going 19-3 in the SAC.
