Rock Hill, S.C.----The defending South Atlantic Conference tournament champion Wingate University Bulldogs had two student-athletes awarded spots on the 2016-17 All-SAC teams (complete SAC release). Junior center Marta Miscenko (Riga, Latvia) earned first team honors, while sophomore forward/guard Danasia Witherspoon (Hickory, N.C.) was named to the second team squad. The Bulldogs are 23-5 overall entering this weekend's SAC tournament semi-finals.
