Wingate, N.C.----The 2016 South Atlantic Conference Tournament champion Wingate University Bulldogs begin their quest for a second consecutive league crown when they host Lenoir-Rhyne University in the 2017 quarterfinal round Wednesday evening from Cuddy Arena and Thomas Koontz Family Court. Tip-off is slated for a 6 p.m. start with the contest airing live on ESPN3. WU will be the three seed in the 2017 tournament bracket, while LRU is the sixth seed.
