Jefferson City, Tenn.----The ninth-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs lost for the first time this year, allowing a late goal at Carson-Newman University in a 1-0 setback in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action Saturday afternoon. The Eagles improve to 11-2 overall and 7-1 in the SAC, while the Bulldogs fall to 11-1 overall and 7-1 in the conference. The two teams are now tied for first in the league standings.
