Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University head softball coach Lani Shaffer announces the addition of two softball student-athletes who have signed national letters of intent to play softball at Wingate University. Wingate welcomes pitcher Samantha Hogan (Albemarle, N.C.) and outfielder Gracyn Polk (Concord, N.C.), who will begin at Wingate University in the fall of 2017. The Bulldogs are coming off a 32-16 season in 2016, earning NCAA Tournament bids in two of the last three years.
