Wingate, N.C.----Wingate University senior student-athletes Vika Arkhipova (Seversk, Russia) and Jessika Weiss (Macon, Ga.) have received regional and national recognition for their efforts in the pool. Arkhipova is this week's Bluegrass Mountain Conference Swimmer of the Week, BMC officials announce. Weiss receives the same honor from CollegeSwimming.com. The four-year letter winners helped Wingate win the 12th annual SCAD Savannah Invitational last weekend.
