Wadesboro, N.C.----Like it did for so many other students, Wingate University had a tremendous positive impact on my life. For me, the Wingate experience was transformational. The Steve Lear who graduated from Wingate in May of 1983 was a much different person from the freshman who enrolled in the fall of 1979.
