Mars Hill, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs venture west to the N.C. mountain region for a South Atlantic Conference women's basketball showdown against the Mars Hill University Lions Saturday afternoon. Tip-off is slated for a 2 p.m. start from Stanford Arena. Wingate sits at 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the SAC. Mars Hill is 2-5 overall and 0-1 in conference action. "Every road game in the SAC is difficult," Wingate head coach Ann Hancock says. "We will need to bounce quickly from our last game to get prepared for Mars Hill."
