Aiken, S.C.----The seventh-seeded Queens University Royals erased a 2-0 deficit Friday afternoon, defeating second-seeded Wingate University 3-2 in the opening round of the 2016 NCAA Southeast regionals. The Royals won by scores of 23-25, 21-25, 25-20, 25-17 and 15-10 to improve to 21-9 overall, advancing to Saturday's regional semifinals. Wingate ends its season at 29-6 overall.
