Wingate, N.C.----The top-ranked Wingate University Bulldogs out-shot eighth-seeded Brevard College 24-6 Tuesday night, but the Tornados scored the lone goal early in the first half en route to a 1-0 upset in the opening round of the 2016 South Atlantic Conference men's soccer tournament. The Tornados improve to 8-8-1 overall, advancing to Friday's semifinals. Wingate suffers its first setback of the year, falling to 14-1 overall.
