Wingate, N.C.----The Wingate University Bulldogs will look for a second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in the 2016-17 season, coming off a 23-10 record last year, advancing to the SAC Tournament championship game and the NCAA regional semifinals. Wingate was 16-6 in league play last season, finishing in third in the league standings. The Bulldogs picked up four victories over top-25 teams last year. Wingate has 28 games scheduled for the 2016-17 season, including 22 conference contests. The Bulldogs have 12 games in Cuddy Arena, 14 road contests and a pair of neutral-site games.
